My name is Emma Petshow. I am a recent graduate from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon where I received my Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine. I am a first year resident at the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR focusing on primary care, naturopathic medicine, and women’s health.

Why a blog?
I have always been passionate about medicine and healthcare, but I also knew that there was more to health than doctor’s visits and check ups. I created this blog to share my vision of health with others and to encourage people that no matter where they are at in their life, they can be an example of health and achieve optimum health for themselves.

A little more about myself… in my spare time I coach a high school track and field team. I also enjoy singing and playing music at my church and with others, being outside in nature, and reading about health and wellness among other things.
